Structured medical and psychological integration for complex somatic and functional symptoms
A structured, integrative and interdisciplinary clinical approach to the study and treatment of complex somatic symptoms. Our aim is not to break your discomfort into pieces but to integrate it, from a medical and psychological perspective grounded in evidence.
At IDENTA we recognize that many people live with persistent symptoms for which they do not always find a clear explanation or a lasting solution. The IDENTA Model is a structured medical and psychological model that combines:
Integrated clinical assessment
Physiological regulation of the nervous system
Evidence-based psychotherapeutic intervention
Measurable follow-up
The goal: functional autonomy
- Chronic pain
- Persistent fatigue
- Functional complaints
- Anxiety felt in the body
- Intermittent symptoms
- Normal test results
- Real suffering
Mind, brain, immune system and hormonal regulation, in constant dialogue
We work from the current understanding of the psycho-neuro-immuno-endocrine (PNIE) system: the continuous conversation between mind, brain, immune system and hormonal regulation. Seen from there, the symptom stops being an isolated puzzle and becomes something that can be understood and trained.

A structured, measurable process aimed at functional results
This is not simply a medical appointment. It is not simply psychotherapy. It is not simply education about the symptom. It is a process built on concrete tools, regular follow-up and clear objectives.
At IDENTA we believe health is not merely the absence of illness but a matter of integration. The goal is not to create dependence on therapy. It is to restore autonomy.
That is why every phase of the model is designed to help you understand your own process, gain tools and move towards a more functional life. See the clinical services that make it possible.
Frequently asked questions
Is the IDENTA Model psychotherapy or medical care?
It is both, integrated. It is not only a medical appointment, not only psychotherapy and not only education about the symptom. It is a structured, measurable process aimed at functional results, and it brings the medical and the psychological together.
What does “evidence-based” mean here?
It means the tools we use are supported by clinical research, and that through regular follow-up and clear objectives we measure whether they produce the expected change in each case.
Do I need a diagnosis before entering the model?
No. The process starts with Phase 0, the integrated assessment, which exists precisely to understand your case and set out a hypothesis and a route. All of it takes place under ongoing medical supervision.
Is neurostimulation compulsory?
No. It is considered only where it is clinically indicated, and always as a complement to the other interventions, never as a treatment on its own.
